Shipping Policy

*DECEMBER 2020 UPDATE: Due to circumstances related to COVID-19, your order may experience delays in being shipped and delivered. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee any delivery dates outlined below. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us. We are working hard to get your chocolate to its desired destination in a timely manner. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

We use only the finest and freshest ingredients to make our gourmet chocolates and confections.  In our chocolates, there are no additives to help make them become more shelf-stable or to raise their melting temperature to help prevent melting during shipping. 

We do everything we can to make sure you receive your chocolates in pristine condition while trying to keep shipping charges down. This includes shipping with Styrofoam insulated boxes and ice packs for heat sensitive products.

We currently ship via FedEx with the following services:



 FedEx Express Saver


Third-business-day delivery by 4:30 p.m. to most areas and by 8 p.m. to residences. Not available to Alaska and Hawaii. We limit this option’s availability to the cold weather months (mid-October to mid-April).



 FedEx 2Day


Second-business-day delivery by 4:30 p.m. to most areas (by 8 p.m. to residences) Delivery in 3 business days for certain shipments to Alaska and Hawaii



FedEx Standard Overnight


Delivery the next business day in the afternoon by 3 p.m. to most areas and by 4:30 p.m. to some rural areas (by 8 p.m. to residences). Available to most ZIP codes in the U.S.



We do not ship online orders to P.O. boxes, APO, FPO, DPO, or international destinations. If you NEED to ship to these address types, please call the factory at 831-655-8527 for special assistance, but be aware that product selection may be limited and additional costs may apply.

All packages are shipped giving FedEx the permission to leave your package on your doorstep if you are not there to receive it.  Please select a day for delivery that you will be there to receive it or select a business address for it to be shipped to.  Lula’s Chocolates is NOT responsible for packages that are delivered but not received due to theft before they are collected.

Please ensure that the shipping address is correct and complete. Additional charges are incurred for address correction if the address is not entered correctly (incorrect house number/zip code/etc) or the address is incomplete (missing Apt/Unit/Suite/etc).  FedEx charges a minimum $17 for each package with an address correction.  These charges may be added to your credit card if the address was incomplete or entered incorrectly during checkout.
